- The aim of this project was to conceptualize and design
a kind of remote-controller for the PAKT-Framework, developed by Daniel Fischer.
PAKT is based on gStreamer and allows you to connect
different types of data and hardware over the internet. »Ape«
should be a flash-based, modular and visual pipeline-editor
for it. Martin Kleppe already developed a mostly technical prototype of »Ape«.
The goal was the development of a fitting user
guidance and the design of an easy-to-use and quick-to-handle
interface.
Basically there are many opportunities
of what you can do with »Ape« but we decided to use
Vjing as an example here.
